Tis the season

To not write, apparently.

Part of it is lethargy after nanowrimo; most years I don’t want to write anything at all in December (and that includes blogs, email and post-its).

Part of it is the rush to get gifts either bought or finished, xmas concerts, making sure kidlets have everything for the concerts, meets with various peoples about stuff before everything shuts down for the holidays, etc.

Many nights, all I want to do is settle down in front of the TV and watch something mindless*.

I have to remind myself that sometimes it’s good to give the brain a rest. Annoying, but good.

*explosions are good, as are dinosaurs, aliens, spaceship battles, and global disasters.
